Due to expansion of business and newly opened restaurant in Buggiba, the company is looking for an energetic and enthusiastic Senior Chef de Partie – Asian Chef to join their team on a full-time basis and become a part of the fast-growing modern Asian & Indian restaurant in Malta. Candidates must be highly competent and able to display their skills and dedication to the job.

Requirements:

–          Proven track record working as a Chef (minimum two years of experience) with a minimum of one year experience working in Asian & Indian Cuisine.

–          Excellent communication skills.

–          Fluency in English is necessary, while knowledge of different languages will be considered an asset.

–          Working knowledge of HACCP.

–          Detail oriented/task motivated.

Job description:

–          Responsible for food production as per booking and as per brand standard;

–          Preparing curries, sauces and desserts as per required standards;

–          Spice preparation;

–          Maintaining and clean work;

–          Ensuring prompt and accurate service and following the instructions of the Head Chef;

–          Responsible for implementing hotel standards on food quality, preparation and presentation in his/her section / shift.
