Due to expansion of business and operational of our second restaurant in St. Buggiba, the company is looking for energetic and enthusiastic Kitchen Cleaners to join their team on a full-time basis and become a part of the fast-growing modern Asian & Indian restaurant in Malta. Candidates must be highly competent and able to display their skills and dedication to the job.

The candidates will perform various cleaning tasks in the kitchen and restaurant areas and support the staff of the restaurant.

Requirements:

–          A minimum of 1-year experience in a similar position.

–          Candidates with work experience in restaurants with large operations or in a similar fast-paced customer, service-oriented environment will be given priority.

–          Must be able to properly communicate verbally with colleagues and managers and follow instructions whether spoken or written.

–          The applicant must be efficient and punctual.

Job description:

–          Maintain clean kitchen by removing trash, sweeping and mopping floors;

–          Cleaning equipment, filtering fryers, cleaning hood vents and drains;

–          Washing dishes, pots, pans;

–          Maintaining clean dishwasher and dishwashing areas.

–          Assist and work with other kitchen cleaners and perform tasks assigned by superior staff, performing general cleaning of kitchen areas and maintain a neat and clean work environment following established health and safety regulations and health codes.

–          Organizing and arranging the kitchen and stock room areas.

–          Ensures prompt, timely and accurate service due to fast-paced environment.

–          Other duties as may be assigned by managers and chefs.
