This is a full-time on-site role located in Malta for a Marketing Manager. The Marketing Managers take the lead in the company’s marketing and advertising divisions, overseeing the success of various marketing initiatives. Some of the typical duties and responsibilities may include:

Responsibilities and Duties:

Strategy and Development

  • Developing marketing plans or strategies based on market characteristics and organizational goals.
  • Experiment with a variety of organic and paid acquisition channels like content creation, content curation, pay per click campaigns, event management, publicity, social media, lead generation campaigns, copywriting, performance analysis.
  • Identify effectiveness and impact of current marketing initiatives with tracking and analysis and optimize accordingly.
  • Contributes to marketing strategy by studying economic indicators, tracking changes in supply and demand, identifying customers and their current and future needs, and monitoring the competition.
  • Develops new uses for existing products by analyzing statistics regarding market development, acquiring, and analyzing data, and consulting with internal and external sources.
  • Maintains research database by identifying and assembling marketing information.
  • collaborating with advertising or promotional managers to coordinate and direct marketing activities to promote products or services.
  •  Analyzing data to make informed decisions about marketing campaigns and activities.

 

General Task Management

  • Oversee and approve marketing material, from website banners to hard copy brochures and case studies.
  • Contributes to marketing strategy by studying economic indicators, tracking changes in supply and demand, identifying customers and their current and future needs, and monitoring the competition.
  • Measure and report on the performance of marketing campaigns, gain insight and assess against goals.
  • Analyze consumer behavior and adjust email and advertising campaigns accordingly.
  • Build strategic relationships and partners with key industry players, agencies, and vendors.
  • Conceptualize and execute multichannel campaigns across the prospect and customer lifecycle, ensuring the alignment of communications and messaging in all channels.
  • Manage content and updates for customers, establish budget guidelines, participate in events, document business processes, and provide sales support.
  • Gather customer and market insights to inform outreach strategies, increase customer conversions, and generate more qualified leads.
  • Maintains relations with customers by organizing and developing specific customer-relations programs and determining company presence at conventions, annual meetings, trade associations, and seminars.
  • Provides short- and long-term market forecasts and reports by directing market research collection, analysis, and interpretation of market data.
  • Provides marketing information by answering questions and requests.
  • Evaluating the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and adjusting strategies as necessary to achieve target goals.
  • Present ideas and final deliverables to internal and external teams, and communicate with senior leaders about marketing programs, strategies, and budgets.
  • Identifying potential new markets and creating a plan to enter those markets.

 

Financial Budget and Control

  • Prepare and monitor the marketing budget on a quarterly and annual basis and allocate funds wisely.
  • Achieves financial objectives by preparing an annual budget, scheduling expenditures, analyzing variances, and initiating corrective actions.
  • Estimating costs and potential sales to project marketing needs
  • Evaluating financial aspects of products or services including budgets, expenditures, return-on-investment, and profit-loss projections
  • Developing pricing strategies to meet market demand and organizational objectives.

 

People Management

  • Maintains marketing staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training employees.
  • Maintains marketing staff job results by counseling and disciplining employees, and planning, monitoring, and appraising job results.
  • Develops marketing staff by providing information, educational opportunities, and experiential growth opportunities.
  • Completes marketing department operational requirements by scheduling and assigning employees and following up on work results.
  • Keeps a team motivated and dedicated to the marketing plan.
  • Leading and training teams of Marketing Associates

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’ s Degree or equivalent.
  • 3-4 years Proven experience as a Marketing manager or similar role.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.
  • Professional appearance and demeanor.
  • Excellent organizational skills, Multitasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks.
  • Hands-on experience with office equipment (e.g. Computers and printers)
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and phone systems.
  • Solid written and verbal communication skills
  • Fluency in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint), Online Editing tools and general internet navigation and research skills.
