Glen Galea (Step in Restaurant) is recruiting a Chef.

Responsibilities:

·        Plan and create menus;

·        Control budgets and wastage;

·        Ensure that all dishes are cooked well and presented in a pleasant way;

·        Recruit and train new kitchen staff;

·        Organize staff duty roster;

·        Ensure food quality and taste is of the highest standard;

·        Making sure that all staff are performing their duties;

·        Determine how much food and supplies need to be ordered.

·        Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations within the kitchen area.

Requirements:

·        The ideal applicant should also have good communication skills and problem-solving abilities, enjoy working in a team, be reliable, flexible and has a professional attitude at work,

·        At least two years of experience in a senior position in the kitchen or hold a qualification in Culinary arts;

·        Fluent in English.
