Job Responsibilities:

  • Updating and posting accounting entries in the computerised system;
  • Performing cash reconciliations;
  • Performing credit control duties including chasing of debtors;
  • Coding all invoices and credit notes, both sales and purchases;
  • Preparing the monthly suppliers payments list;
  • Maintaining all ledgers within the accounting system;
  • Liaising with customers and suppliers;
  • Supervising and leading the Accounts Assistant in order for the latter to be effective and efficient in her/his role;
  • Ensuring that the Accounts Assistant meets deadlines and has enough workload;
  • Carrying out any other ad hoc tasks (including administrative support) as may be required from time to time.
  • Supported the CFO in accounting and financial report
  • Preparing bank reconciliations
  • Supported and reporting to CFO in the preparation of management accounts
  • Preparing list of document for Auditors with respect closing of Financial year
  • Post and process journal entries to ensure all business transaction are recorded and reconciled
  • Preparing monthly payment to suppliers and liaise with CFO , preparation of supplier reconciliations, intercompany reconciliation

Job Requirements:

  • Excellent communication skills in English; knowledge of Italian is a plus.
  • Degree in Accounts or Finance;
  • Acca Certification or A master’s in accounting or MBA is preferred.
  • Proficiency in Excel, Word, Outlook and Accounting Software.
  • Experience of minimum 3 years in Account department. Previous experience in a similar role is preferred.
  • Have experience and know-how with P&L Accounts, budgets, balance sheet, management account
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills٫ with accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Team leader aptitude.
